Personality
Logical and level-headed, Vienna serves as mediator and saucer to the tea amongst her siblings. Cheery but not so forward or exhuberant as her siblings she is happy to spend her days idly and easily. Years of having to balance out her siblings has made her someone very difficult to rile up, and even angry she resembles more a huffy mother than anything else. She cares deeply for those close to her and very little for those who are not, and despite her smile she can and will calculate just how to treat someone to suit her means. Quite aware of the stares and whispers among the elite circles regarding her appearance and weight she holds her head high and keeps a smile, genuinely comfortable with herself. She is satisfied just having her health, her family, and her status.
History
The second out of three triplets of the noble Zimmermann estate, Vienna spent much of her early childhood confined to her bed, constantly in ill health due to a difficult birth. Those years were neither dull nor lonely, however, as her two siblings made constant efforts to keep her company and in good spirits. She grew to love her siblings dearly, as well as appreciate all the small happinesses in life, and when her health cleared up some years later she had become a girl of mellow nature and positive view. Growing up in the family's country house on the Sarl River far from their father's lands, she had little worry besides keeping her brother and sister away from each other's throats and the siblings' pet Chouchette Bacon out of trouble. Though the affairs of the empire was something she took interest in and an ear out, she did not overly preoccupy herself with such matters, reasoning that as she was neither the firstborn nor a son it was not something that she would ever have to directly concern herself with. When news came, then, that their parents wished for them to join them in Koben, she took it with a furrowed brow. She had some inkling that their father wanted their presence for more than just parental love, and it was comfortable here, spending her days with her siblings and the household staff; it was not something she wanted to leave. However, debuting in court wasn't something that could be avoided so with her brother and sister she packed up and headed for the city.
Current Story
Prince Sigmund's kidnapping revealed the truth behind Prince Fabian's death, and with it the Zimmermann family fell sharply from grace, saved from the bottom by the thinnest of threads. In a political move, Vienna was promised in marriage to the Voegelin family, eventually marrying their son, Daelan.
Despite the circumstances, Daelan proved a good match for Vienna. Daelan's mellow nature worked well with Vienna's ambition, and he was more than happy to retreat from the limelight while she maneuvered court with the power-- and freedoms-- she now had as Madame Voegelin. She was determined to make a name for herself to secure her brother and sister's happiness.
