Little Wizard Academia

As the new year sets in across Alva, a new year of classes begins at Miras’ Academy of the Arcane as well. Preparations this year have been rough – with new focus on the military under King Silvan’s rule, funding for schools has been cut severely across the Kingdom in order to strengthen the army instead. To keep tuition affordable and classes afloat, the students of the Academy thus rally for a massive fundraising fair during the opening week of school.

Aided by helpful professors and passionate alumni, an eclectic mash of stalls and stages comes to life on the campus grounds. Vendors cheerfully sell absolutely anything they can muster – food, trinkets, books, plants, clothes, that shiny rock grandma stubbornly kept in the attic – and amateur but eager artists put on small performances in every courtyard. Almost everything has a proudly magical and homemade twist, as students put the knowledge they’ve gained at the Academy to good (or at least creative) use, and all the extra money raised is donated straight to the school. From the 1st to 4th Mirrors, it’s a bright and noisy mix of a marketplace and festival at the Academy and everyone is welcome.

Features: Cobbled-together stalls, street food, student buskers and spruikers, small novelty enchantments everywhere (e.g. colour-changing pasta, floating plates, chirping hats)
