Conflict has happily left the North alone to heal, and Belporters have wasted no time in using that respite. The docks are back in order. The city's restoration is well on track. And come the start of Seeds, the 'soul of Belport' is back - the Belport Performing Arts Society is on its feet again, and is ready to celebrate with a sparkling new arts festival.

It's been the talk of town for weeks - after so much loss and fighting, excitement buzzes in the air for the first truly Belporter celebration in years. From ritzy theatre houses to street performers, from pubs and hawkers to fancy restaurants, every sphere of entertainment is on board to make this the spectacular party their home deserves. All tickets and meals are on discount. Impromptu performances and booze flow freely everywhere. Bright lights and music join the bracing sea spray that envelops the port city, through day and night.

Belport lives, and the Spirit of Belport Festival is here to prove it in style this first week of Seeds.
