Imperial Address

In Koben, the time has come for an occasion that never crossed the minds of many - with the passing the previous Crown Prince Fabian, the Emperor's second son Sigmund will celebrate his first birthday as new Crown Prince. Long hidden from the public eye due to his own retiring nature, he will make his first public appearance and address as the heir to the Empire in an occasion that mixes celebration with a grim reality.

Although the immediacy of war has abated somewhat over the past few months, political feelings are sure to run high at this reminder of the death of a much-loved prince. As if in tandem with the mood, the primary feature of the celebrations will be a series of military displays - including marches and the flying of the newest prize of military development, the immense flying dreadnoughts of the Air Force. While the capital and perhaps the entire Empire will be decked out in extravaganza, the demons of the times lurk just beneath the surface and all will be watching - from the Empire to observers in the Kingdom - to see if they can divine what the future holds for the Imperial line, and perhaps all of Alva.
