Southern Federation

For Estraude and Tusa, the Year of Beginnings truly heralds an exciting new beginning - they have joined forces under a new alliance, as the great Southern Federation. Their union joins two great lands and two rich cultures together to create what - they hope - will become a third global power outside of the Miras-Koben divide. Estraude’s long established magic and spirituality combined with Tusa’s martial strength will put the Southern Federation on par with its adversaries.

A parade is held in each capital to celebrate the new alliance, welcome new brethren and showcase new military uniforms for both Estraude and Tusa. The streets are strung with colourful fabrics and filled with cultural exchange. Tusar relish the colorful festivities in the midst of rebuilding their capital and identity, and give a hearty welcome to their Estran guests in typical in Tusar fashion with plenty of herbs and booze. Estraude’s capital transforms in celebration for their new allies; music, dance and feasts last far into the night, embracing Estraude's native culture and welcoming Tusa's into the tropical nation.

In the long term, it will mean free trade and travel amongst its members, and continuous exchange between the Estran and Tusar Estran leadership for joint control. While they will share the Southern Federation Flag, each will retain their own autonomy as separate countries. No longer will the existing dichotomy define Alva; for the south, the future looks bright.
