Tusa

Tusa is a vibrant desert city of colour, clamour and strong-willed tenacity. Despite the harshness of its location and searing climate, it has flourished as a centre of trade within the east continent and is known throughout the Empire for its eclectic mash of riches, poverty, cultures and people.

Having started as simple military encampment within the shelter of the large Garal Uusel Oasis, Tusa remains deeply rooted in military tradition. Soldiers and mercenaries alike fill the bustling streets, alongside both the richest of merchants and poorest of beggars. Large rifts in wealth are common here, though all the people of Tusa share the same steely fire, pragmatism and stoicism of spirit.

Being heavily reliant on the precious groundwater of the oasis, the goddess of water, Mareus, remains the most revered of the gods, though Iridus is also often prayed to for respite from the weather and sandstorms.
