Summit of Great Minds

The time has come for the bookish island of Nisalvini to host an event on the calendar of every intellectual - the Summit of Great Minds, a convention of innovations in the Kingdom's scientific and magical industries. Researchers, inventors and the simply curious from all walks come to witness new developments, and perhaps present their own. This year's Summit is special though - although all topics still feature, the focus has turned squarely to technology that may be of use for the defense of the Kingdom.

As it does for the 4 days every year when the Summit is held, Nisalvini bursts as with activity - stores and hawkers take full opportunity of the event to sell their wares, and locals and visitors alike don their best celebratory robes. This time more than ever before, military officials and advisors pour into the city in the hopes that the assembly of the best minds in the Kingdom can bring fresh ideas to enhance the nation's advantages in war. The Adjudicator of Nisalvini also adds her own interest - there is now a small Fashion part of the Summit, held in her mansion, where leading designers discuss the newest fabrics, techniques and accessory fads.
