Surrounded by the warm, southernmost seas of the Kingdom, Nisalvini is a small but brilliant white island known for its chalky hills, pristine beaches, unique flora and the academia that have gathered there to study it. The plants that grow here have an unusual characteristic – they change colour regularly, often daily, on changes of the season, fluctuations in magical energy, and countless as yet undiscovered reasons. What makes the island fascinating for scholars therefore also makes it a place of distinctive beauty, wreathed in leaves that can be any colour of the rainbow.
Balmy and slow-paced, life in Nisalvini is a quaint and modest affair. Locals are generally easygoing and open-minded, with more concern for intellectual and internal matters than the outside world. They harbour a definite love of debate, and many will happily talk all day if they can. Their love of knowledge has turned the island into something of the library of the Kingdom, with its myriad of museums and collections of literature on every topic under the sun.

The Ley Lines Syndicate is a collection of guilds across the Kingdom - their strengths now merged to further the learning and practice of magic together. Building networks between magic practitioners and resources is the Ley Lines Syndicate's priority. Mages of the Syndicate may find through these connections opportunities for work, mentorship, research, and kinship that would otherwise be difficult to find.
