The weeks before Spring Festival are, in Nisalvini, time to spring clean its own special 'harvest' - books and research. This year the famed annual book fairs are a little late - and since they are, the Adjudicator has opted to kill two birds with stone and bundle it with the Kingdom's biggest conference of thinkers, the Summit of Great Minds.

Libraries enter a frenzy as they sift out books to discard and scope out books that they want. Come the fair and Summit, a flood of literature is released for sale to the waiting public. Book swaps abound and food vendors close in with Nisalvinian coffee and pastries - turning the affair into a giant, festive book cafe.

The thinkers of the Summit convene in this friendly nerd-fest to share their year's research and look to the future. The topics on everyone's tongues this year are the new King, Delverne and the Leywood. Silvan's channeling of funds to the military - while good for national security - is a challenge for academia all over the Kingdom. Speculation runs wild on what Delverne really wants in the Leywood, what to do about it and who built the ruins. As of yet it's all rumours and guesses... but no less deserving of dissection.
