Outwardly a lazy and unmotivated individual, he is nevertheless a skilled healer, and a hard worker (though he would prefer to do so with the least amount of effort involved.) Though easy to dismiss his apathy as simple laziness, his demeanor is more of a cynicism cultivated from his years travelling abroad.
Despite his poor attitude, he has a firm commitment to his morals and personal hierarchy, and will unfailingly perform any given task to the best of his ability, if not with a healthy amount of grumbling on the side. He is not one for flattery or pandering, and if asked for suggestions or opinions he will give them without fanfare. Still, he is by nature a more private and guarded person, and will tend to avoid or deflect any questions in regard to his personal life or preferences.
History
Youth and Adolescence: 0-35
Raised by a single mother for all his life, Françoise grew up very aware of the difficulties of raising a child in such circumstances. He was a considerate and obedient child, often hiding his personal wants and needs in order to ease the burdens he brought upon his mother. He strove to be the ideal child, diligently and devoutly praying and learning the healing arts from an early age.
Travel Abroad: 35-45
When Françoise was thirty five years old, his mother remarried. Thankful that she was able to find happiness at last, he nevertheless harbored worries that his presence would be a hindrance to her future. Despite his new family's kindness and generosity, he feared the scorn his mother might face for bringing the child of a previous marriage and left his stepfather's household under the pretense of wanting to travel abroad.
Having lived his entire life in the glimmering city of Delverne, Françoise began his travels thoroughly unprepared for the world outside. He earned his food and lodging by any means necessary, reporting to local churches or offering his healing skills to those in need. Though at first charmed and excited by everything these new lands had to offer, he also witnessed the harsher, ugly side of the world-- thieving, cheating, and banditry. Soon, his healing arts began to tend towards the path of an exorcists', as a means of self protection proved to be a growing need.
Though he was well aware at this point how cruel the world could be at times, he had still managed to avoid more dangerous altercations, aside from the occasional petty theft. That luck could not last forever, and he found himself with a considerable injury after a run-in with a particularly nasty hoodlum. Left in a desperate situation, he was driven to draw the humors from his own injury to fend off his assailant.
Since then, he has had the tendency to self harm in order to use his injuries as ammunition in dangerous circumstances.

It was during one such instance that he was noticed by Lord Revinix of Dokeîn'Ma on one of his travels. Intrigued by Françoise's self destructive habits and healing talents, he recruited (to put it mildly...) the healer to work on his sister's estate.
Dokeîn'Ma Family Doctor: 46-present
A decade after he'd left Delverne he returned as a member of a different household, tired and cranky as heck a more seasoned and experienced elf, as well as more disillusioned and apathetic towards the workings of the world. Still, he served the Dokeîn'Ma family well and diligently, and continues to work under them to this day.
