Year of Beginnings

The Year of Souls in Alva has been a year of tumult and change. Some has been good - the black thorn plague Nisalvini is finally resolved and the North has been reclaimed by the Kingdom - but much more is alarming or dangerous. The Empire is beginning to crumble with Reluir and Tusa both declaring their enmity. The Kingdom heads into uncharted territory with the mysterious death of their old King and the strange prophecies that follow his successor. And very recently, the long lull in battle between the two sides seems doomed to break with the revelation of Prince Fabian's killer. As the Year of Beginnings and a new cycle arrives, the past and the future are on the minds of all.
