Cantor

Cantor is the agricultural centre of the Miras Kingdom, a place of rolling fields, wild forest and uncountable myriads of flora and fauna. There are no big cities here, other than Cantor Town itself. Most rather live in towns and villages scattered over the vast countryside. Being largely simple folk living closely with the land, the Cantish hold a deep respect for nature, family, hard work, old-fashioned values and good hearty food (but not so much new-fangled technology). They are a social, generous people who love a good yarn and would jump on any excuse for a fair or festival.

Overseen by the Cantor Abbey, most locals have a strong relationship with the Church and are dutifully religious – and in turn, the Church plays a big part in supporting the community, particularly in the form of healing, education and advice. Worship is heavily biased towards Therras and Aurea. Superstitions for winning the favour of the gods abound; Atros is not mentioned here.
